TWO boys from Lapford, George and William, are on a mission.

They have come up with the idea of holding a Big Breakfast to raise money for Children in Need.

It will take place at Lapford Victory Hall (EX17 6PZ), from 9am to 12 noon on Saturday, September 19.

The breakfast will be £8 for a small and £10 for a large, made using local produce.

Booking is essential so to book, please contact mum, Stacey, on 07891 556884.

She said: “It’s guaranteed to be tasty, and most importantly, it’s all in aid of a fantastic cause!”

There is a free car park, as well as on-street parking nearby. Payment can be made by cash or via QR code, which will take you directly to their fundraising page.

If you’re unable to make the breakfast, the family would really appreciate it if you could still support George and William by sharing their fundraiser or making a donation using the following link: https://gofund.me/cd13d2f3d

Stacey added: “They’ve already raised over £50 by selling little items outside the house and through kind donations, all completely off their own backs.

“I’m incredibly proud of them for showing such initiative and enthusiasm for such a worthy cause."

George and William said: “Please join us in making a difference? We’re raising money to benefit BBC Children in Need with the help of our parents, friends and family. Any donation will help."

BBC Children in Need fund over 1,700 local charities and projects work tirelessly in every corner of the UK, helping children and young people overcome the challenges they currently face.

This includes supporting children and young people living in poverty, providing emergency assistance to families in crisis, offering comfort to children feeling sad, lost and alone, helping children to overcome inequality and supporting children to feel safe and secure again.
