A SUCCESSFUL Family Fun Day was held at Newcombes Meadow in on Saturday, June 4, as part of the Crediton Right Royal Jubilee Celebrations.

Children and adults enjoyed the drop-in circus skills which included stilt walking, plate spinning and hula hoops.

There were lawn games organised by the Crediton Detachment of Army Cadet Force and face painting, which was very popular with long queues.

A barbecue and refreshments, organised by the Rotary Club of Crediton Boniface, were available in the Bandstand and there was an ice-cream van in the park.

Members of Crediton and District Lions Club were on-hand to give advice.

Due to the weather conditions two Bouncy Castles were set up in the Boniface Centre and were a huge hit with the younger children.
