A GROUP of talented artists has teamed up with Crediton Palestine Group to host a fundraising evening to help Palestinians in Gaza.

The evening will be a celebration of Palestinian culture, take guests on a journey through Palestine’s history and give a platform to young Gazan storytellers.

The event is open to everyone and free to enter. Doors will open at 6.45pm on Saturday, November 22 at the Boniface Centre.

There will be music, storytelling, artworks, and Palestinian food and drink. Please take cash for the bar and donations.

One of the organisers said: “For two years, supporters of Palestine have been campaigning for a ceasefire; now there is a fragile pause in the worst of the fighting, but Palestinians are still dying everyday.

“This evening aims to raise money for Medical Aid for Palestinians and other charities to help Palestinians recover from their injuries of war and malnutrition, and try to rebuild.”
