CREDITON Town Band, which is entertaining so many at its busiest time of year, reminds everyone that all are welcome to attend its biggest town concert, Carols in the Square, on Tuesday, December 23.

A much-loved town tradition to attend, it will take place in Crediton Town Square from 7pm to 8pm.
Hundreds of people normally attend this much-loved event and take part by singing along to many Christmas Carols.
In addition this year, Crediton Youth Orchestra will play before the event starts.
The Band is currently in its 41st year and during the last week it has had many engagements.
On Saturday, December 13 Band members played Christmas Carols at Homeleigh Garden Centre.
The next day, Sunday, December 14 the Band played for the Christingle Service at Holy Cross Church for a lovely well attended service.
On Tuesday, December 16 the Band played for the Farmers’ Christmas Carol Service at Exeter Livestock Centre, the event also including the Devon YFC Choir.
Still to come, on Saturday, December 20, Band members will play Christmas Carols in Crediton High Street and at Morrisons from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
On Christmas Eve, Wednesday, December 24, Band members will play Carols in Crediton High Street and in the entrance at Tesco, Wellparks, Crediton, from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

Crediton Town Band is a non-contesting brass band which concentrates on playing concerts and community events throughout the year.
It comprises a mixture of local people of all ages and abilities who enjoy playing music together.
Iorwerth Pugh is Musical Director.
New players would be welcome to join and are invited to attend a rehearsal night.
The Band rehearses in Crediton on Thursday evenings from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
