SUSTAINABLE Crediton will be given a tour of Quicke’s Farm in Newton St Cyres on Saturday, May 23.
It will last from 10am to 12pm. Members of the public are welcome to join.
“Jane Quicke has generously offered to give a tour of the farm to explore the intersection of farming, food production and the environment,” said a Sustainable Crediton spokesperson.
“The visit will last two hours and will involve walking up hills and over rough ground.
“There will be an opportunity to discuss environmental features such as field corners and margins, beetle banks, wood kept in place and find out about current research and programmes including the Global Farm Metric, work with Bristol University and a pesticide use trial.”
