COLEBROOKE Dog Show and fundraiser for St Andrew's Church, Colebrooke will take place on Saturday, June 27.
The Dog Show is a relaxed and fun event and all are welcome to participate, all ages, breeds and backgrounds!
Registrations begin at 10.30am on the Amenity Area by St Andrew's Colebrooke.
Entry is £5 per dog, and that allows the dog to enter as many classes as they wish and are qualified for.
The classes are: Waggiest Tail; Best Trick; Musical Sits, Best Turned Out, Best Fancy Dress (dog and owner); Retrieve the Sausage; Dog the Judge would like to take Home; Best Young Handler (Year 6 and below); Best Puppy (less than one year old); Best in Show.
Also, from 11.15am there will be other activities including Guess the Weight of the Lamb and a Raffle.
Drinks and cakes will be available and pulled pork rolls will be served during the interval.
The church is delighted to provide this event for the local community. It is one of main fundraisers for the church. Take along cash for entry fees, food and drink and the raffle!
The Amenity Area will be very busy throughout the day and will be closed to parking.
The advice is to share cars, walk or find other ways of reaching Colebrooke.
Please park safely elsewhere in the village or with nearby friends and take care when crossing roads. Please keep your dog on a lead at all times except when competing in a class when you may be invited to let them go free for a while.
The church is grateful to various sponsors for their valuable support including Jonathan Wood Vets (for help with the Dog Show), and many other individuals for contributing cakes, raffle and prizes.
