RESIDENTS of Crediton are invited to attend a Community Emergency Planning Information Session, aimed at helping local people and organisations become better prepared for unexpected emergencies.

The session will take place on Monday, July 6 at 6.30pm at The Boniface Centre, Crediton.

Organised by Crediton Town Council, in partnership with Devon Communities Together, the event will provide practical guidance on how communities can plan ahead to respond effectively to emergencies.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the principles of community emergency planning, understand how to develop a local emergency plan and discover how communities can work together in times of crisis.
