FOR the 80th anniversary of D-Day on June 6, Crediton Area History and Museum Society (CAHMS) would like to bring together any memories local people might have about D-Day connections with the Crediton area.
Tony Gale from CAHMS said this could be people who lived here, or were passing through at that time; anything you might remember about what was happening here at that time, or when you or your family heard the news.
He said: “We would love to hear your stories or see any old photos or mementos you might be able to share.
“Depending on what we get, we hope to put together a small pop-up exhibition in the museum for a few days either side of June 6.”

Alternatively, pop into Crediton Museum, located at the Old Town Hall at the corner of Searle Street with Crediton High Street.
