A DEVON Air Ambulance landed in Crediton at lunchtime today, Friday, February 23, to enable paramedics to assist at a medical emergency at a private house off Westwood Road.

Two land ambulances also attended the incident and a person was later taken to hospital by one of the land ambulances.

The air ambulance landed in a field near Lower Westwood Farm.

The air ambulance was unable to land at Landscore Primary School as children were playing on the school pitches during their lunch break.
