FOR their May meeting, the Crediton branch of Devon Senior Voice, was given an interesting talk by Chair, Carole Towler about the benefits of Reflexology for health and well-being.

Towards the end of her talk, members asked some questions and Carole was able to share some basic techniques and also give some historical background to the therapy.

Carole was thanked for her talk, and there followed light refreshments, after which the committee met for its monthly meeting.

The AGM will, hopefully, be held in July and Ron Cuthbertson, former treasurer, explained about the nomination and voting forms.

Paula Kovacs has agreed to act as a temporary treasurer for a maximum of three months whilst committee members seek a new permanent one.

If anyone feels that they have the skills and enthusiasm and would like to be involved as treasurer in this campaigning group for the over 50s, please contact Carole Towler on 01392 852600.

The next meeting will be at the Meadow Suite, Lords Meadow Leisure Centre at 2pm to 4pm, on Wednesday, June 14.

The speaker will be Mrs Judith King facilitating a session of “Seated exercise for the over 50s”. All are welcome - donations are invited towards refreshments and room hire.
