THE Chairman and Leader of Mid Devon District Council, Cllrs John Daw and Cllr Clive Eginton respectively, visited the Royal Mail sorting office at Hawkins Way in Lords Meadow, Crediton this month to thank the staff for their hard work in the run-up to Christmas.

The councillors were shown how the sorting office operates and heard about the large numbers of Christmas cards and other mail which passes through the sorting office.

Mr Daw and Mr Eginton wished them Season’s Greetings and hoped they enjoyed their break after the deliveries had been done.
