CREDITON Town Council is, once again, inviting all Crediton residents to enter this year’s Floral Crediton Competition.

With six different categories - small formal garden, larger formal garden, small managed natural garden, large managed natural garden, family garden and patio or hanging baskets - there really are no restrictions!

To ensure that you don’t miss the judging on July 13, all completed entry forms must be returned to Crediton Town Council by Friday, June 30.

Local gardening expert, Mr Bert Jewell, will carry out the judging along with the Mayor of Crediton, Cllr Frank Letch MBE.

All entrants will be invited along to an awards ceremony in September, where certificates and trophies will be handed out to winners.

The awards also provide a great opportunity for keen gardeners to share their tips and experience.

Entry forms can be downloaded from the Crediton Town Council website: www.crediton.gov.uk or collected from the Council Offices in Market Street.

Alternatively the forms can be collected at Crediton Library, Tucker’s Country Store, Crediton Garden Centre and the offices of the “Crediton Courier”.
