CREDITON Police have issued an awareness warning to people in Crediton following a shed break-in.

A shed was broken into in the Greenway/Tinpot area of the town between 4pm on Thursday, January 12 and 10am on Friday, January 13.

Police confirmed that power tools and gardening equipment was stolen.

The police advice is to secure outbuildings and property.

If anyone has any information about the shed break-in, they are asked to contact Devon and Cornwall Police using the 101 number and quoting crime reference CR/003081/17.
