CREDITON and District Lions Club has presented 50 miniature roses to Age Concern Crediton to distribute to 50 of its elderly clients.

The branch president, Peter Bryan, said that it was a gesture to cheer people up during this time of isolation.

He added that the club would be sending more out to other people in the near future.

Beverley Whaley, centre manager, said: “I would like to thank the Lions Club for its generous gifts.

“I am sure the clients will really appreciate this.”
