Saturday, August 8 – six mixed rinks v United Services (away) J Martin lost 17-19, T Richards won 20-13, C Bishop drew 19-19, P Martin lost 12-22, S Wollacott lost 18—22 and A Hopper won 15-13. Crediton lost 101-108 shots.
Tuesday, August 11 – six mixed rinks v St. Thomas (home) D Richards won 25-14, T Newberry won 19-14, J Theedom won 28-15 and S Wollacott won 18-9. Crediton win by 90-52 shots.
Thursday, August 13 – five mixed rinks v Tavistock (home) T Richards won 23-15, J Abbott won 26-13, R Fickling won 21-17, S Wollacott won 20-13, J Theedom won 26-15 and A Hopper lost 18-19. Crediton won by 134-92 shots.
Saturday, August 15 – four mixed rinks v Abbrook Park (away) P Page lost 22-25, A Hopper lost 14-26, T Newberry lost 17-21 and T Richards lost 10-24. Crediton lost by 63-96 shots.
Sunday, August 16 – four mixed rinks v Bradninch (home) D Richards won 25-14, M Theedom won 34-7, T Chamberlain won 37-13 and T Richards won 26-17. Crediton won by 122-51 shots.
MEN'S OVER 60's
TRIPLES LEAGUE
The end of the league season is just two matches away and the fate of some clubs is already decided, in Division Two Exonia 'A' and Crediton 'A' will both be promoted but the actual champions and runners-up is still to be decided.
In Division Five four teams are in contention for the league title and runners-up spot including Crediton 'B' – but Crediton 'C' title hopes have all but come to an end after a run of poor results.
Thursday, August 6 - two men's triples 'A' v Pinces Gardens (home) J Theedom won 20-12 and R Fickling won 20-13. Crediton won by 40-25 shots. League points – 'A' 8 – Pinces Gardens 0.
Two men's triples – Crediton 'C' v 'B' – perhaps a draw was a fair result in the Crediton "Derby match" which was very close game through out – C Friibbens 'C' 17 – A Hopper 'B'15 and J Abbott 'C' 13 – T Richards 'B' 15. Crediton 'C' drew with 'B' 30-30. League points – 'C' 4 – 'B'4.
Friday, August 7 – two men's triples - 'B' v St. Thomas 'B' (home) T Richards won 27-12 and A Hopper won 24-11. Crediton won by 51-23 shots. League points – 'B' 8 – St. Thomas 'B' 0.
Wednesday, August 12 – two men's triples 'A' v Sidmouth 'B' (away) R Grant lost 17-22 and R Fickling won 26-10. Crediton won by 43-32 shots. League points -'A' 6 –Sidmouth 'B' 2.
Two men's triples 'B' v Okehampton 'C' (away) A Hopper won 22-17 and T Richards won 35-7. Crediton won by 57-24 shots. League points – 'B' 8 – Okehampton 'C' 0.
Two men's triples 'C' v Bradninch 'B' (away) J Abbott lost 17-19 and S Wollacott lost 5-28. Crediton lost by 22-47 shots. League points – 'C' 0 – Bradninch 'B' 8.

Friday, August 7 – two ladies' rinks v Heavitree (away) J Martin lost 12-18 and C Bishop won 27-13. Crediton won by 39-31 shots.
Monday, August 17 – two ladies' rinks v Exonia (home) C Bishop lost 22-33 and J Martin won 22-16. Crediton lost by 44-49 shots.

Saturday, August 15 – two ladies' rinks v Kings, Torquay (match played at Sir Francis Drake Bowling Club, Plymouth) Crediton ladies' lost in the semi-finals of the Devon Interclub, they put a good performance against a strong Kings, Torquay team that included two members of the ladies' Commonwealth bowling squad. J Martin lost 13-19 and C Bishop lost 13-19. Crediton lost by 26-38 shots.
