The Chairman, Phil Bevan, confirmed what he had said at the last AGM that he would not be standing for the forthcoming season. He was thanked for all he had done on behalf of the league by the Vice-Chairman Dave Totterdell and was presented with a gift of vouchers on behalf of the committee and players in the league.
The committee for the next season will be: Chairman Reg Willing, Vice-Chairman Dave Totterdell, League Fixture Secretary Phil Cutler, Competition Secretary Nadia Ball, League Secretary/Treasurer Dian Perry, Result Sheet Secretary Brenda Balman, Pins and Balls contact John Tremlett, and Alley Marking contact Malcolm Ball.
Player's representatives are Alan Brimacombe, Stephen Wollacott, Jack McClellan and Daniel Wonnacott.
The league donate to charities at the end of each season and for the 2008-2009 season they were: £250 Force, £250 Devon Air Ambulance Trust, £250 Crediton Hospital and £50 for the Christopher Clement Fund.
The charities that were voted to benefit at the end of the 2009-2010 season are Crediton and District Community Transport, Devon Air Ambulance Trust, First Response and Crediton Hospital.
The league set up for the next season will consist of three divisions with 14 teams in Division One and 15 teams in Division's Two and Three. The teams are as follows:
Division One: Chummers, Cricketers, Livewires, Moonlighters, Moonrakers, Nomads, Outlaws, Pirates, Puffing Billies, Runaways, Spartons, Spudlers, United Crediton and Waie Inn.
Division Two: Alley Kings, Bellraisers, Bowling Club, Cygnets, Fitzers, Hell's Bells, Hiccups, Kirton Krackers, Mother's Pride, The Pugs, The Rolling Stones, White Hart Fawns, Woodpeckers, Wurzels and Yokels.
Division Three: Ad-Libs, Con-Vics, Exiles, Good Time Girls, Jolly Crossers, Newton Rebels, Oddballs, Pathfinders, Potters, Potters 8 Deadly Sins, Rose and Crown, Shobrookers, The Kings Jesters, The Ships Titanics and The Up and Comings.
Although Pirates and Woodpeckers finished on the same amount of points it was voted at the AGM that the team with the highest average should be the team that gets the promotion which was Pirates. This will be the process next season should the same situation happen.
