A CRAFT and plants weekend held at St Matthew's Church in Cheriton Fitzpaine was a huge success, raising over £3,000 for the organ repairs.
There were displays of lacemaking and spinning and woodwork, and many stalls with items for sale, including pottery, art and jewellery. There was also a representative from the Turning Tides Project.
Home-made cakes, scones and lunches were snapped up in record time, and there was a constant buzz of conversation.
Plants grown by Churchwarden Hazel Norton and her husband Andrew are always popular and practically sold out.
Pictured are five ladies from the Craft and Care Group, who meet twice a month in the parish hall.
