AN inquest has been opened on a 28-year-old motor bike rider who died in a collision with a tractor and trailer near South Molton.

Keiran Lerwill, of Bishops Nympton, was killed in the collision on the B3227 at Nadder Lane near South Molton on October 4.

An inquest was opened today, Wednesday, October 14, at County Hall in Exeter and heard that ground worker Kieran died from multiple injuries in the collision between his BMW S1000 bike and the John Deere tractor.

His family paid tribute saying he was a “gentle loving son, grandson, brother, uncle, partner and friend."

The inquest has been adjourned.
