DRAINAGE works on the A377 through Copplestone are set to disrupt traffic through the village for more than a month.

The western side of the one-way system between Copplestone Cross and Bassetts Bridge will be shut from Tuesday, August 4 until Monday, August 24.

The eastern side of the one-way system will then be shut from Tuesday, August 25 until Tuesday, September 8.

There will be traffic lights to allow cars through on the opposite side as works take place. The one-way system will be suspended.

Bewsley Hill will also be closed from Tuesday, August 4 until Monday, August 24. Drivers heading for the A377 should divert via Sunnymead and vice versa.
