CHULMLEIGH College year 11 students enjoyed going along to their leavers’ ball on Thursday, June 18.

Dressed in formal eveningwear, the class of 2026 pupils arrived at Country Ways near Umberleigh in a variety of impressive sports cars, vintage vehicles and even tractors.

The school praised the cohort, who have just completed their GCSE exams, describing them as “incredible” and wishing them “every success as they prepare for the next stage of their journey”.

“It was a fantastic opportunity for pupils, staff and families to celebrate the hard work, determination and resilience that have characterised this exceptional year group,” a spokesperson for Chulmleigh College said.

“The evening was filled with laughter, friendship and plenty of unforgettable moments, with everyone looking absolutely fantastic.”
