SHOPKEEPERS and businesses in Crediton will be giving everyone the ultimate Christmas shopping experience on Friday, December 7.

A late night shopping evening, organised with the support of nearly all the town's shops and other businesses, the Chamber of Commerce and the Crediton Courier will take place until 8pm.

Many shops will be providing drinks and nibbles. Performing during the evening will be The Crediton Town Band and Mellow D at various locations around the High Street.

Santa will make an appearance in Evans newsagents and pubs and restaurants will also be open.

Visitors who attend to enjoy the late night shopping experience, may also like to pop along to Crediton Parish Church where, until 6pm, the Christmas Tree Festival will be taking place.

Make a note of the date in your diary, Friday, December 7, to pop along to enjoy Crediton's late night shopping evening.

You will be able to browse for Christmas gifts after work and help support the town's shops and the local economy by shopping locally.
