CREDITON Town Band is preparing for a busy December, a highlight of which will be a concert featuring special guests, Copplestone Community Choir.

The Christmas concert will take place on Saturday, December 12, in Crediton Congregational Church, beginning at 7pm.

Tickets, which are expected to sell swiftly, are priced at £6 (children free) and are available from Evans Newsagents and, if not sold out, at the door on the evening.

As well as their own concert, other band engagements include an appearance at the Senior Citizen’s Party at the Boniface Centre earlier that day and the following day band members will play for the Christingle Service at Crediton Parish Church from 3pm and at local care homes from 4pm. 

On Wednesday, December 16 they will be giving another concert at Yeoford Community Hall from 7.30pm. 

On Friday, December 18 the band will play for carols at Crediton Bowling Club from 8pm and the following day, from 10.30am in Crediton High Street.

On Tuesday, December 22 and Wednesday, December 23 the band will play at Morrisons supermarket at 10am each day and on Christmas Eve (Thursday, December 24) they will play at the Tesco store at Wellparks and in the High Street, from 10am.
