NORTH Creedy Choral Society will present its Spring Concert in Holy Cross Church, Crediton, from 7.30pm on Saturday, April 18.

The Society will perform Faure - Requiem and Mozart - Coronation Mass.

The orchestra will be led by Anna Cockroft.

Soloists will be Katie Leaver (soprano), Stella Stephens (mezzo-soprano), Philip Lancaster (tenor) and Tim Mirfin (bass).

Gabriel Faure wrote of his Requiem “it is dominated from beginning to end by a very human feeling of faith in eternal rest”.

Mozart’s Coronation Mass was written in 1779 when he was 23 and although a Mass, is uplifting and light.
