ALL are welcome to spend a leisurely Sunday morning walk looking at some local trees.

The Tree Spotting Walk will take place on Sunday, April 19, walking along the footpath from Crediton to Sandford, about 1.5 miles each way.

Meet at 11am at the Crediton end of the footpath on Higher Road, near to the junction of Alexandra Road. The focus of the walk, as part of Sustainable Crediton, will be tree identification from buds and bark as well as leaves and shape.

The footpath and Sandford Millennium Green were established in 2000 and there are both native and introduced trees along the way.

It is suitable whatever your level of knowledge of trees!

Parking is available along Alexandra Road.

The path is on firm ground but there are some uphill sections on the return.
