MARGARET and Tony Martin of Cheriton Fitzpaine have lit up their home and garden this year in aid of ShelterBox and all the villagers were invited for the switch on event, which included mulled wine and a buffet.
Margaret and Tony bought The Old School several years ago and transformed it into a unique and spacious home.
The old school hall, now their family room, had eight fully-lit Christmas trees, two were 12ft high.
Outside, every outside wall was fully lit with a fabulous display of lights and tableaux.
When the couple formally switched the lights on, there was even a snowstorm, giving it a White Christmas Card scene.
The lights are now on every evening from 5pm until 10pm and donations can be made for ShelterBox.
A truly magnificent display by a very public spirited couple.
