CREDITON Friends of FORCE, on behalf of FORCE Cancer Charity, would like to thank Crediton Rotary Club and in particular the four Rotarian swimmers - Paul Radnor, Fred Oliver, Paul Butt and Paul Evans - who completed an impressive 151 lengths of Active Mid Devon’s swimming pool in Crediton to raise £1,283 in support of FORCE.

FORCE has provided cancer support for nearly 40 years, helping people and their loved one’s access care, information and practical support close to home. From its welcoming centre in Exeter to community hospital support in Okehampton, Tiverton and Ottery St Mary, FORCE offers services including emotional support, complementary therapies, mindfulness, hair loss advice and help for those living with non-curable cancer. Fundraising is essential to help FORCE continue and develop its services. Crediton Friends of FORCE has several events coming up: a coffee morning at Dolphin Stair Lifts on July 14, bingo at Crediton Football Club on September 30 and a coffee morning at Sandford Cricket Club on November 7.
