It is a feature of the store’s continued involvement in the Crediton community and allows charities and organisations that may not normally be able to fundraise directly at the store the chance to benefit from the generosity of the store’s customers.
Yet again there are will be a variety of groups attending from primary school choirs to small local groups to local arms of national organisations, all manned by local volunteers who will be giving up their free time to fundraise.

These magnificent totals highlight the on-going generosity of the people of Crediton, recently voted one of the best places for families to live in the country.
The store’s community Champion, Andrew Drayton, said: “We are delighted to welcome these groups to our store and hope that they benefit hugely from the opportunity.
“With the work that I do, I am fortunate to come into regular contact with people and organisations who do fantastic work in the town and surrounding area and hope that the opportunity to fundraise at our store helps them carry on that work.
“I am constantly amazed at the amounts that are raised during our Charity Month and believe that this trend will continue.
“Thank you in advance to all of our customers for any donation that they feel they are able to make. I know that every penny is appreciated and we have asked all of the groups attending to let us know how much they raise so that we can pass that information, and their thanks onto you.
“We will do this via the ‘Crediton Courier’ and the stores Twitter Account - @creditontesco.”
Please note that the collecting schedule may be liable to change at any time and it may not be possible to publish any changes made at the last minute.
