THE owner of Divine Flowers, Donna Lamb was shocked when a car hit the front of the florists on Crediton High, Street at around 9am this morning, Tuesday, October 16.

Donna told the Courier: "The driverless car rolled from the opposite site of the road, hit a Vauxhall Astra that was parked outside and came to rest in the front of the shop.

"I was inside the shop and felt it shake.

"Some of the bricks have cracked and been pushed back and I’m waiting for someone to come and assess the damage."

The Astra has also sustained damage to the rear end of the car.
