A VERY special presentation was made at a much-loved Crediton High Street shop recently.
Staff gathered for a surprise presentation to mark the retirement of David Adams from Adams Home Hardware, who has sold the business.
David joined the family business in 1965 aged 16 years, his brother and business partner Richard, who has already retired, having started two years before.
It was their parents who took on the business from their grandparents just after the Second World War.
The staff are all long-serving at the business, the least serving for 20 years and they thanked David for his kindness over the years.

Mustafa Khan of Exeter is the new business owner, who is increasing the range at the home and garden, DIY and essentials store.
