THE Exmouth Classic Vehicle Show is set to return on Sunday, August 9, with a line-up of over 250 vehicles to wow classic vehicle enthusiasts.
The event’s organisers, the Morris Minor Owners Club Devon Branch and Ford Anglia 105E Owners Club, find that a lot of enthusiasts from the Mid Devon and Crediton area attend this annual show and will bring all manner of interesting vehicles to display.
The two car clubs will once again transform the Imperial Recreation Ground in Exmouth into an eclectic display of classic cars and motorcycles, light commercial vans and modern classic cars. Adding further variety will be 10 local clubs putting on their own displays, including the Crash Box and Classic Car Club.

This year is the 22nd Exmouth Classic Vehicle Show and it continues to uphold the ethos of the very first show held in 2004 which did not impose any age-related restrictions on the vehicles on display, nor require vehicle exhibitors to book in advance.
Spokesperson Lorna Moggridge from Holcombe Rogus said: “The Exmouth Classic Vehicle Show continues to be a favourite event for many vehicle enthusiasts living in Mid Devon and Crediton because of its relaxing atmosphere and the variety of vehicles that turn up during the day. “Our motto is always ‘bring some sunshine and a smile’.”

Since 2010 the event has also raised funds for Devon Air Ambulance from the sale of items on the bric-a-brac stall and tombola and from all the voluntary donations made on the day in the official collecting buckets. To date more than £16,000 has been raised for the lifesaving charity.
The Exmouth Classic Vehicle Show takes place from 10am until 44pm.
