THE book launch of Welcome In, a book of experiences of refugees living in Crediton, will take place at Crediton Congregational Church, from 7pm, on Monday, July 6.

The book is a series of stories written by and inspired by our refugee community. The book was the result of creative writing workshops led by Fiona Macbeth this year at the church. These workshops were open to both the refugee and local community.

The stories read by the authors themselves will make you laugh, cry and ultimately shine a beacon of light with their tenacity and hope.

The evening will conclude with wine, nibbles and songs from the local Ukrainian choir.

It will be an evening of insight, and inspiration. This event is supported by Welcoming Refugees in Crediton.
