Art project was enjoyed by children at Hayward's Primary School in Crediton

CHILDREN at Hayward’s Primary School in Crediton have been given the opportunity to take part in an art project with artist, Lynn West.

The project was funded by Hayward’s Primary School Parent Teachers Association along with a donation from Cavender Consulting.

Each class in the school worked with Lynn over 10 weeks on a variety of art projects.

Year 6 children focused on Klimt, Year 5 on Monet and Years 1 and 2 on Kandinsky.

Years 3 and 4 have yet to take part.

Years 5 and 6 also produced some stunning Batik work, a technique that originated in Indonesia.
