A RECORD will be broken at the Mid Devon Show, the area’s one-day agricultural show, which will take place on Saturday, July 25.

Colin Nation, Show Organiser, explained: “I am delighted to confirm that this year represents the largest gathering of livestock in the history of the Mid Devon Show, which is fantastic news and maintains this area as the very heartbeat of the Show.”

Mr Nation added that with all the Livestock entries received, the team have been working through the mountain of information received.

He added: “This is just the start of the process as we organise breeds and classes, prepare rosettes and judges' books, and finally pull together all the information needed for the Show Day Programme.”

The Show promises a vibrant mix of spectacular entertainment, mouth-watering food, unique shopping, live music, flourishing horticulture, and an authentic glimpse into farm life — with magnificent livestock displays and competitions at the very heart of the show.
