COMMUNITY spirit and vintage charm took centre stage as the bi-annual Coldridge Fete, Vintage Rally, Flower Festival and Dog Show returned to the village on Saturday, June 27.

In an idyllic hilltop setting with marvellous views, the fundraiser in aid of the parish church and village hall featured Crediton Town Band, a children’s penalty shootout, Rob Pudner of Entertainingly Different, parades of vintage cars, tractors and other vehicles in a main ring, plus many stalls and attractions.

Hundreds of people attended and they were also able to admire alpacas, birds of prey, gun dogs, refreshments and lunches from a tea tent, ice creams, countryside skills and so much more.

The church was beautifully decorated for the flower festival, which had the theme Devon in Detail.
