The pantomime included many local references to people and places and was a laugh-a-minute with Christmas music in between scene changes.
Younger members of CODS shone on stage when they performed songs and dances, some even taking leading roles.
The cast should be pleased that they performed to full houses at each performance.

Abbie Tebbit and Alice Stapley played Princess Jasmine and Cathy Lamb was the Emperor of China.
Nicky Gould was Sing Lo, Bridget Merrett was Charlie Chan and his honourable number one son, Chin Chin Chan was Oliver Dunton.
Holly Gould played the role of Kung Foo, the adorable pet panda and Josh Sanders was the Genie of the Lamp.
Hazel Price was the Slave of the Ring and Carol Stoyle was Vizier.
Dancers and chorus included: Yvaine Broad, Rosanna Clark, Adam Gould, Bonnie Irwin, Evan Kelly, Francis Kelly, Josie Sanders, Caitlin Slyfield, Alice Stapley, Zoe Weetman and Erin Zorlu.
All those involved backstage should be praised as well as director Holly Harris, who was assisted with choreography by Sarah Carter.
Audience members were treated to a box of fudge each thanks to Bristows of Crediton.
Father Christmas made an appearance during the interval to the delight of the children.
No-one can or will ever forget seeing Mike Canning as Superman.
