CREDITON Town Council is excited to welcome the latest touring production by Common Players to Newcombes Meadow on Saturday, July 9, at 3pm.

It is up to Alice to save the day with the Queen of Hearts on the war path, with a host of friends (old and new).

It is being presented by the Common Players who say audiences should expect “larger than life characters, puppets, live music, dancing and lashings of absurdity!”

Town Clerk Rachel Avery said: “We are excited to be offering a free event like this to everyone in Crediton, especially children and their families, with our local primary schools being involved in this special performance.

“Whilst everyone is welcome to attend, this event forms part of the 2022 Mayoral Reception when our wonderful voluntary organisations are being invited to a post-show tea party to celebrate Crediton.”

So, gather your friends and family, take along a blanket or chair and follow everyone down the rabbit hole!

There is no need to purchase a ticket, just go and enjoy the July weather (whatever that may be) and the show!
