RECEPTION pupils who joined Landscore Primary School in September have been having a very busy and enjoyable first term, and COVID was not going to stop them spreading some Christmas Cheer.
The children in Miss Brown and Mrs Brooks classes have had a brilliant first term at Landscore, and settled in really well despite the changes that have been introduced to the school day.
They have enjoyed time in the forest school area and the garden with the animals, and have loved the enhanced outdoor learning area around the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) unit.
Although they could not hold their traditional nativity play the children have dressed up and recorded a short festive film which features the children singing songs including "Clip Clop" and "Sing in the Streets".
Miss Brown, EYFS Lead at Landscore said: "This term has been great fun. Our Christmas performance which we have recorded for the parents has been a lovely way to end the term, the children loved dressing up and it made the day really special."
