THE A377 has been closed between Morchard Road and Lapford due to a vehicle fire.

The incident happened before 2pm today, Saturday, June 20, but at 6.30pm still remains closed.

Traffic is advised to seek an alternative route.

A tractor and trailer is believed to be involved in the fire.
