TWO Crediton Police officers attended an incident in Crediton High Street at about 2pm today, Thursday, April 27.

A man who was drinking from a bottle of wine, and appeared to be very drunk, was arrested after throwing the bottle and smashing it onto the pavement near 100 High Street.

The man was placed into the back of a police car until assistance arrived.
