POLICE were called to Brays Close, Crediton at around 3.15pm on Tuesday, May 20, following reports of a disturbance.
It was reported an altercation took place in a property which resulted in a man being assaulted.
A 37-year-old man from Crediton was arrested on suspicion of using violence to secure entry, ABH and theft.
A 35-year-old man from Crediton was arrested on suspicion of ABH, criminal damage and possession of a bladed article.
He was de-arrested and taken to hospital for treatment for a hand injury.
A 36-year-old from Crediton was arrested on suspicion of ABH but will face no further police action.
Officers would like to reassure the public that they do not believe anyone else was involved in the incident and it is believed to be an isolated incident with no further risk to the public.
