THE Jockey Hill roundabout and Blagdon Road in Crediton reopened at 1.30pm after a serious single vehicle road traffic collision.
A Volvo car was believed to have struck a wall at about 8.45am this morning, Sunday, May 12.
Three ambulances, a fire crew from Exeter and paramedics from a Devon Air Ambulance assisted at the scene.
Local residents coned off the road and a police cordon was then placed in the area.

The condition of the driver is unknown at this time.
Devon County Council Highways engineers spread sand on the road surface at the scene and motorists are advised to drive with care.
