A FIRE crew from Crediton extinguished a small fire in the passenger compartment of a car at Tedburn St Mary this afternoon, Sunday, August 14.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to the incident at 1.06pm and the crew used one hose reel jet to put out the fire.
Firefighters also disconnected the battery on the car.
The car was slightly damaged by fire and the cause was believed to be accidental.
