A WOMAN has been taken to hospital following a crash on the A377 near Lapford.

Police were called to the scene at Lapford Cross at 8.55am on Wednesday, September 17.

The collision involved a car and a tractor and trailer. The woman driving the car was taken to hospital by ambulance to be checked over.

One lane was blocked, and police left the scene at 11.30am.

The highway authority attended the incident due to an oil spill.
