DANIEL Parker, First Degree Black Belt, from Crediton and Copplestone PUMA Taekwon-Do, is organising a fundraising event for Cancer Research UK.

Daniel has organised an Ultra White Collar Boxing event, which will take place at Unit 1, the newly-refurbished nightclub (previously known as Arena) in Exeter, on Saturday, October 3.

Tickets for the black tie event are £20 standing and £35 for limited seating.

Daniel said: “I will be taking part in my first-ever white collar boxing match to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

“Myself and around 40 other fundraisers are training together for eight weeks prior to our event on October 3 when we shall be battling it out at the black tie event in front of hundreds of people.

“I am asking for public support in raising money for Cancer Research UK.

“I believe this is a fantastic cause as this is a charity close to my heart in many ways, and might be for others.”
