ON CHRISTMAS Eve Rotarians from Crediton raised £797.50 for Devon Air Ambulance Trust by collecting donations from generous customers at the Crediton Tesco store at Wellparks.

The Rotary Club of Crediton Boniface president, Nick Yarnold, thanked all those who contributed to this amazing amount.

The club’s next fundraiser is a darts marathon on February 19 in aid of the Amber Foundation which helps homeless, unemployed young people move on to positive, independent futures and for St Petrock’s, the Exeter charity for people who are homeless or vulnerably housed.

Teams of six are sought for the two-hour marathon, held between 8pm and 10pm on the one night in a number of different venues around the area.
