PUPILS from Sandford School took part in the annual Crediton Learning Community KS1 Six-a-Side Football Tournament held at Landscore Primary School.

Sandford were represented by boys from Year 2 - Sean Alexander, Bill Blake, Elliott Butterfield, Elliot Huggins, Riley Northfield, Tom Stanton, James Theedom and Arlo Vaughan.

A super time was had at the event and Sandford were second overall with Hayward's first and hosts, Landscore, third.

The Sandford boys had not played as a team before but gelled very quickly.

Headteacher, Jonathon Gower, received some lovely feedback about the quality of the football played but also about how well the young team played together.
