THE date for this year’s Crediton Crunch 10-kilometre race has been announced.
Organised by the Crediton Running Network, the mostly-offroad run will take place on Sunday, September 13 from 10.30am and start and finish at Queen Elizabeth’s School’s Barnfield campus.
“Dust off the running shoes, locate your fancy dress box, and prepare your legs for the return of that hill… yes, the Crediton Crunch is back!” said a spokesperson.
“Expect countryside views, plenty of laughs, community spirit, medals, BBQ vibes, and probably a few people questioning their life choices halfway up Heartbreak Hill.
“We’re busy behind the scenes planning another fantastic Crediton Crunch and trust us, you’re going to want to be part of it.”
Entries will open soon. Last year’s Crediton Crunch saw 158 runners take part, and as much as £3,024.20 raised for Hospiscare and children’s charity Go Beyond.
