ON the final week of the league season North Tawton hosted OPMs First and Second teams in an afternoon to celebrate North Tawton winning the Devon One league.

The action on the pitch was preceded by the annual Sponsors and Past Players lunch. 

Prior to the lunch a presentation was made by Becci Arscott to FORCE of £1,000 raised during a Ladies Night earlier on in the year.

The Second teams kicked off first.

North Tawton ended the game 62-5 winners, tries were scored by: Jack Davey (2),  Conor Stevens (2), Robert North (2), Shaun Braime, Bradley Hudson, James Bowden.  With all conversions James Bowden.

The First team then kicked off with both teams evenly matched in the first 20.

The deadlock was broken by Captain Craig Dennis.

Further first half tries were added by Alex Dennis, Simon Quick and Gary Sizmur leaving the half time score at 22-0.  

The second half started with an explosive run by Jordan Cornthwaite who cut through the defence.

Further second half tries were added by Jake Ayris and another from coach Simon Quick.  All conversions were scored by Gary Sizmur leaving the final score at 41-0.
