MONDAY, March 28 saw Seniors at Downes Crediton Golf Club play a roll-up stableford with all proceeds going to the Ukrainian Appeal.

Leading the scoring and taking victory with a superb 43 points was Cedric Chapple beating Nick Walker (43pts) into second by virtue of a better back nine holes.

Chris Theedom posted 42 points to finish third with Nigel Ashplant (40pts) in fourth place.

Sue Jackson was star of the show on Thursday, March 31 in the Ladies County Stableford as she posted a fine 36 points to take victory on a day that players had to deal with a stiff easterly wind.

In Division Two June Mitchell (32pts) finished second whilst Anne Woodger topped Division One posting 32 points with Fran Shrubsole (31pts) second. Ruth Ford scored 18 points to win the nine hole stableford.

Saturday, April 2 saw members play, in the Club Stableford, the first official competition over the Old Course and Steve Blackmore put in a stunning performance to score 46 points and win by a massive seven point margin.

In Division Three Robin Tooze was placed second, posting 38 points whilst Andrew Rogers (37pts) followed in third.

The Division One victory went to Martin Howe with a 36 point haul with Quinn Payne-Cook (35pts) second and Matt Russell (35pts) third.

Topping Division Two was Ken Bones with 39 points with Ed Gallois (37) second and Kate Cornish (36pts) third.
