WITH two seniors and four Masters swimmers, Crediton and District Swimming Club hit the water with force at Tiverton pool on September 13, when medals were won by all those that competed.

The team of Darren Beer, Emma Hockin, Matt Hockin, Sue Walker, James Hudson and Daniel Mather won an impressive 15 winners’ medals between them.

James and Sue swam this event for the first time showing the diverse age range and strength within the club, with Sue swimming her first Masters gala for 20 years.

All three of Sue’s freestyle swims put her in the top four of her age group in the UK this year.

Daniel and James each swam personal best times in the 200m freestyle and 50m breaststroke respectively.
